JutuGo / Terms of entry

Terms of entry

These terms apply when you create a JutuGo account, enter a tournament, or vote on someone else's entry. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

Version 2.0Effective 12 September 2026Applies to All tournaments on jutugo.com
Plain-language summary. One account and one entry per person. Your work stays yours, and you give us permission to show it and promote it. Verified accounts decide results using a published formula. Cheating loses you the prize and the account. Prizes are held in escrow and paid within 48 hours of standings locking. This summary is not the agreement — the sections below are.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, entering a tournament or casting a vote on jutugo.com, you agree to these Terms of entry, the Privacy policy, the Payout policy and, where relevant, the Child safety policy. Together these form the agreement between you and JutuGo.

Each tournament also has its own rules, shown on its page. Where a tournament rule is stricter than these terms, the tournament rule applies to that tournament. Where they conflict on anything else, these terms apply.

2. Your account

  • One account per person. Additional accounts are removed, and their votes are stripped from every entry they touched.
  • Verification is required before you can enter or vote. Unverified accounts may browse.
  • Your details must be accurate. Prizes are paid to the verified account holder, so details that are not yours will stop a payout.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account, including votes cast from it.
  • You may delete your account at any time from settings.

3. Who can enter

  • You must be 18 or over to hold an account and to enter any tournament, other than as set out below.
  • The Kids Talent Contest and Kids Drawing Contest are entered by a parent or legal guardian from their own verified account, on behalf of a child in their care. Children do not hold accounts. The Child safety policy governs these tournaments and its terms take precedence over this section.
  • You must be resident in a territory we can pay into, listed at signup.
  • Employees of JutuGo, the host of a tournament, and their immediate families, may not enter that tournament.
  • Individual tournaments may add further eligibility rules on their own page.

4. Your entry

You may submit one entry per tournament. Every entry must be:

  • Your own original work, created or captured by you. Reposted, downloaded, purchased or AI-generated material is not eligible unless a tournament's rules say otherwise.
  • Cleared for every person in it. If an identifiable person other than you appears, you must have their permission. If they are under 18, you must have their guardian's permission and the tournament must be one that permits it.
  • Free of third-party rights you do not hold, including music, logos, artwork and footage.
  • Lawful and not harmful. Nothing sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or depicting illegal activity. Nothing that sexualises any person, and nothing involving a child that would not be shared publicly by a reasonable parent.
  • Compliant with the tournament's stated rules, including format, length, resolution and recency requirements.

Entries are reviewed before publication. A rejection cites the rule it breached and can be appealed. Approval at review is not a warranty that an entry complies — an entry found to breach these terms later may still be removed.

5. Rights in your entry

You keep ownership of your entry. Copyright and every other right in it remain yours. By entering, you grant JutuGo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

  • Display your entry on its tournament page, the public gallery and the results page, for the length of the round and for 30 days after it ends. Top-three entries remain displayed on the results page indefinitely.
  • Feature the top three finishers of every tournament on JutuGo's own social media channels and marketing materials.
  • Share all verified video entries from video tournaments on JutuGo's channels on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, together with your name or handle.

This licence does not permit us to sell your entry, sub-licence it to a third party, or use it in paid advertising without asking you separately and getting your agreement.

Opting out, and what we cannot undo

  • You may opt out of external social sharing when you upload, without affecting your eligibility or your score.
  • You may request removal at any time, including after results. We will remove the entry from JutuGo and delete our own posts on external platforms, normally within 7 days.
  • Once material has been public, copies made by other people are outside our control and we cannot promise to remove them. Consider this before opting in.
  • Kids tournament entries are never shared on external platforms, including winners, and no opt-in to the contrary is offered.

The licence ends when the entry is removed, except for copies already distributed and for records we are required to keep.

6. Voting

  • One verified account, one vote or rating per tournament. You may update your vote or rating on your chosen contestant during the round.
  • You may not vote on your own entry, or arrange for others to vote in coordination on your behalf.
  • You may not buy, sell, trade or solicit paid votes, or use automated tools, multiple accounts or device or network manipulation to influence a result.
  • Votes may be removed where they are flagged as manipulated, as described in the Fair play page. Removal counts are published with results.
  • Asking people to vote for you is permitted. Paying them, deceiving them, or impersonating them is not.

7. Scoring and results

Each tournament states its judging method before entries open, and the method and its weights cannot change once they do. Scores are calculated by JutuGo using the published formula. Hosts cannot alter scores, votes or standings.

Standings lock 48 hours after judging ends. During that window flagged votes are stripped, disputes are heard and scores may change. After the lock, results are final, except where fraud is established afterwards, in which case account action and, where a prize has not yet been paid, forfeiture may still follow.

8. Prizes

  • Prize pools are funded into escrow before entries open.
  • Prizes are paid to the verified account holder only and are not transferable.
  • Prizes are paid within 48 hours of standings locking, subject to valid payout details and any statutory deduction.
  • Tax may be deducted at source where the law requires it. You are responsible for your own tax position.
  • If a winning entry is disqualified, the prize passes to the next qualifying entry.
  • Full detail, including failed payouts and cancelled tournaments, is in the Payout policy.

9. Disqualification and account action

We may remove an entry, disqualify an entrant, withhold a prize, or suspend or close an account where:

  • An entry breaches section 4, including plagiarism and missing consent from people shown in it.
  • Voting rules in section 6 are broken, including organised or purchased votes.
  • More than one account is held by the same person.
  • An account is used to harass, impersonate or deceive other users.
  • The law requires it.

Where votes were cast on your behalf without your knowledge or involvement, the votes are removed and your entry stays in. We do not penalise entrants for what other people did unasked.

10. Hosts

Tournaments may be run by third-party hosts. A host sets the prize, the rules, the judging method and the dates, and reviews entries against its stated rules. A host cannot influence scores or standings.

JutuGo operates the platform, holds the escrow, calculates results and makes the payouts. Where a host's own conduct causes you loss, your claim is against that host, though we will act on hosting access and say so publicly where a result was affected.

11. Liability

JutuGo provides the platform as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that any entry will attract any level of votes or views, or that any tournament will attract a particular number of entrants.

We are liable to you for the prize you were entitled to under a tournament's published rules and for anything the law does not permit us to exclude. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of reputation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes and termination

We may change these terms. Material changes are notified on your account and take effect at least 14 days later. Changes never apply retrospectively to a tournament you have already entered — the terms in force when you entered govern that entry.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, and will give a reason unless the law prevents it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here removes any right you hold under consumer protection law in your own country of residence.

Questions about these terms go to support@jutugo.com.
